Single Student On-Campus Housing

The residence hall or Hale (pronounced ha-lay) facilities are designed to maximize social interaction between students in a healthy, clean environment, which is conducive to high academic achievement. Separate Hales are designated for men and women. Hales have two, four, six or eight students in a bed space and four to eight people in a unit. Each room is furnished with curtains, single beds, desks, chairs, closets, wastebaskets, and drawers. Bathroom facilities are designed for single boarding students with a busy college schedule, and individuals in adjoining rooms may share central bathroom facilities. There are no ceiling fans or air conditioning permitted in the residence halls. Residents are permitted to purchase standing floor fans for their rooms.
